How could I get the rope higher up on my boat for wakeboarding?
I have a 20ft bayliner..plenty of power..but id like to get the rope up higher like on wakeboarding boats. My boat is an inboard/outboard so the rope holder is just above the engine maybe 1.5-2 ft. off the water
How much help would it be to raise the rope hight and how could i do it?

When wakeboarding do you have to have the tow rope hooked up higher?
We have a ski and fish boat, and we dont have one of those top metal frames with a little hook on top and we are looking to start wakeboarding. Do you have to have one of those metal frames, because we have a spot to hook up the rope but its not one of those tope things.
Is there a difference between wakeboarding ropes and water skiing ropes?

How important is a pole/tower and a spectra rope when it comes to wakeboarding?
I’ve gone wakeboarding a couple of times with a regular rope and no tower and it seemed to be very difficult. I understand that there is a decent learning curve with wakeboarding but I was just wondering how much of a difference it would really make to get a tower or spectra rope? I was wondering if they are worth picking up for the occasional wakeboarder…
